I am a single handed practitioner, qualifying as a chiropodist in 1975, and hold a Certificate in Local Anaesthesia, and a Degree in Podiatric Medicine (2002). I am registered with the Health Professions Council, a body created to protect the health/wellbeing of clients and who maintain a register of health professions who meet their standards for training, professional skills, behaviour and health. I am also a practising member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists - a professional association which helps maintain members` training, professionalism and treatment as set by their CODE OF ETHICS.
